Crystal Caves

From http://www.ironammonite.com/2009/12/surviving-cueva-de-los-cristales-giant.html Just an amazing blog entry about exploring these beautiful but deadly caves. Thanks Lucas for pointing this out to me.

I have nothing to say about this that isn't awkwardly cliche. Except perhaps we should always make sure to try keep up with nature documentary stuff that goes on, because it really helps to remind us of how amazing and precious our planet really is.

I googled a doc about this and the cave's so hot it's deadly, but beautiful and amazing.

Well yeah it's the combination of heat and humidity that causes condensation in the lungs that causes awful respiratory problems (as in the lungs is the coolest part of the body!?!) ... even the thought of that freaks me out!

Dang. Is this the same crystal cave from Planet Earth? Some amazing shots there, anyway.
