Cold Salt Skin Update
Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:49PM Unfortunately, due to my bad planning, I won't be able to illustrate the awesome, hilarious, and downright beautiful words some of you wrote here... at least not for my exhibition. I feel pretty terrible about it as some of the stuff there is absolute GOLD...
Well, I -had- just started on a series of images inspired by the stuff you all wrote just yesterday but I got an email from the gallery asking for my catalogue and I realised I had run out of time. Also, the first image I made was a total failure but I'll post it here for posterity.
However, the stuff you wrote actually really inspired me and got me thinking so thankyou so much for that. And of course, there will -still- be prize giving to some of my favourites (though it's going to be very hard to pick). You people have such awesome imaginations and mad writing skills, thankyou. Seriously. I worry that I may have let some people down (probably pretty silly of me) but hopefully prize giving will pick 'em up again!
So yes, I've handed in my exhibition catalogue and the official artwork count is 55 individual images. Quite a few of those are little quickies... but I think there's going to be a pretty good variety of works. I do hope to see you there!

Well a lot of them are tiny little doodles... so...you know...stuff!
You don't need to worry about letting people down! I have to admit I'm very excited about seeing your work in a gallery. Good luck, broken legs, gods speeds and all that!
